Dock Diving

Dock Diving is the fastest growing sport on four legs and now there is a Dock Diving Facility in the Sioux Falls Area with experienced members who can help anyone get connected with the sport. For some dogs this sport comes naturally, but to most dogs it has to be a trained thought process. If the dog understood the physics of dock diving they would not need training. This sport would also not be as popular because it would not be a team sport.

Dock Diving is a sport for all breeds, age and size. It does take some confidence building and team work to learn the correct technique to get them to jump big, this is why the sport is so fun and rewarding.

Flight Dogs

Angelee and Ryan Jordan are the founders of Flight Dogs and dreamed of a place to practice the sport of dock diving and also have a place for others to build the sport. We love our dogs and the dog sports available that help grow the relationship with your dog. We also love the relationships with others who are crazy about dogs and share the same interest. We decided to create a place where we can grow in the sport of dock diving.

Dock: 40’ x 6’ dock with a turf surface with a 4’ wide ramp to help the dogs out.

Pool: 33’ x 18’ x 4’ deep above ground pool.

The dock also has a vertical rig for vertical training and is set up for speed retrieve training.

Dogs that jump at or over 23’ can still use the pool, just are required to jump at the 30’ mark for safety. This pool is a training pool and even at the 30’ mark the dogs can learn technique that will help them in competition.
